I ordered the fish and chicken combo and was very satisfied! The chicken was cooked just perfect and that seasoning did rest of the magic. The place doesn't look super fancy and is in a odd spot with not many parking spots but don't let that fool you!
It's definitely worth trying if you are in the area! Also try the corn nuggets!!! -

Great for breaded chicken with extra bread.
Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is a small eatery catering to the simple American delight of deep frying everything. Chicken, seafood, and veggies are all given copious layers of breading before being submerged in fryer oil and sprinkled with homemade garlic powder.
While the extra thick fried breadcrumbs gave everything I ordered a wonderful crunchy texture, it took away from the natural flavors of the foods I ordered. I tried their chicken wings, chicken legs, chicken livers, jalapeno poppers, and fried okra, and all of them tasted very similar.
Selection is also deceptively limited, as many of the items on the menu were sold out by 7:30pm.
If you like fried food, Hip Hop's got you covered, even if every dish on their menu tastes similar. -

Wings are really tiny. There's a better chicken spot in the plaza across the street by the Planet Fitnesses

Save your money. The chicken here honestly sucks. The wings are extremely small. NO MEAT ALL BONE. Thighs are the same. I suggest you go to NY Fish and Chicken around the block for good crispy chicken.

Let me start by saying this review is based on their hours of operation. The site says 10:00 am. However, this is not the case. I waiting for 20 min and called thinking they may still be prepping so, wanted to be patient. I'm not normally in the area so, I wanted to try their food. Nope no answer and left at 10:20 with no food!
If they open later that's fine but update the site so folks would know when your open.
